Awakening Beyond Transition and The Relationship Between Parents and De-Transitioners

Stephanie and I discuss post-transition recovery, and examine the pros and cons of the role de-transitioners play in the lives of concerned parents. This was a vulnerable and nuanced discussion about what parents can learn from de-transitioners, and de-transitioners from parents, while also discussing the darker side of the dynamic which can result in parentification, martyrdom, and a parasocial vs. nourishing intergenerational relationship.

We also discuss how Jordan Peterson’s wisdom about personal responsibility deep analysis of philosophical and mental health issues aided in my healing journey from CPTSD, and helped me grow up after de-transition.
