“There could very well be pain! A lot of pain. Horrible, agonizing pain.”

There will be pain, with certainty. That, I know, that I wince at, that I cry for. But, at what point is real life and real pain worse than pain only foreseen, and none from a life lived?

When We Encounter a Sphinx:

The Greek myth of Oedipus and the Sphinx highlights the transformative power of facing obstacles head-on. Oedipus, undeterred by the intimidating presence, deciphers the riddle posed by the Sphinx, unlocking not only the secrets of his destiny but also the broader wisdom that adversity carries the key to self-discovery. The Sphinx, a guardian of the way, becomes a metaphor for life's intricate questions, where the journey through obstacles reveals the very truths needed for growth and mastery.

The Sphinx of mythology guards the path, embodying the challenges that test our mettle and demand the unraveling of mysteries. The Sphinx, with her enigmatic gaze and regal lion's body, presents not a barrier to be feared, but a riddle to be unraveled. Much like life's challenges, she guards the path with an invitation to confront the mysteries within ourselves.

In her fierce enigma lies the reminder that the obstacle, once engaged with courage and curiosity, unveils the path to profound understanding and self-realization.The journey of life, much like the mythical encounter with the Sphinx, demands a profound shift in perspective. Instead of viewing obstacles as insurmountable roadblocks, one should perceive them as checkpoints for mastery.
